Chronicles: Blog

New Page: Additional Pages For Chapter 2: Page 15

A new page is up:
Page 15

It may feel counter intuitive to go back to the middle of the story, but the reworkings will link it more solidly and help improve the characters appeal.

What’s really fun to see is the overall improvements to my art over the years. I don’t plan at this moment to redo the pages after these, as I’ve mentioned I’m going to rework text and maybe do some minor tweaks to link it. A few of the old ones had to be removed because it did change that much.
Here’s a comparison page. Roughly 4 yrs apart.

Thanks again for all of you following along on this adventure!

Additional Pages for Chapter 2

Following on the same trend as the last post I’m returning to Chapter 2 to add some pages to help make the story feel more complete. I’ve added a transition page to Chapter 1 + 2.
I’ve recently boarded out the pages for the story bridging. I’m excited to share when there’s more to see!

First Blog post!

To help keep all of you apprised on the journey even when a lot hasn’t been developed page wise, I wanted to start a blog to share at least the slow but sure work in progress! I’m practically always working on bits of the comic when I can but it’s not always a glamorous page release!

Big news is I’m re-titling the tale as “Overseer of the Kronoglass.” There’s quite a bit of content that already uses the title “Keepers of Time” and I wanted to separate my story from that. Also, I felt that Keepers of Time didn’t really encompass what the story was about. The main element the hourglasses known as Kronoglasses may be related to time pieces but didn’t track time. Who knows, it may change later before I publish, for now I feel like “Overseer of the Kronoglass” is a better fit.

Recently my friend Lauren Allen and I have started a story jam where we give each other input/critiques on our stories! Her advice has been great and I’ve started tightening the plot and dialogue on the script with her help. That being said I’ve reworked some dialogue in earlier pages, PG 10, 11 and soon to be 12-14. Check them out!

Also, the site has gotten a redesign. You can access the index of pages from the top right four squares icon while in comic mode. There’s a link to take you to the most recently uploaded page. As well as some more behind the scenes pages.
